Hi, I’m Steph 💕

If you had told me a year ago that I would own a small business, have multiple machines, and spend my free time dreaming about what I could create next, I probably would have laughed. But sometimes the things that change us the most start with something incredibly simple.

For me, it started with a Cricut, a heat press, and a baby shower.

I bought them to make shirts for our daughter’s baby shower. When it was over, I found myself looking at those machines wondering what in the world I was going to do with them now. I decided to try making stickers, starting with Montana designs. Those first stickers found their way into our local coffee shop and then our local hardware store.

Seeing something I had created sitting on a shelf for someone else to buy did something to me.

It made me realize that maybe I was capable of more than I had given myself credit for.

And that’s where Simply Steph really began.

In January 2026, I took a chance on myself and officially started Simply Steph LLC.

Since then, I’ve experimented with acrylic and UV resin, taught myself sublimation, purchased my first small laser engraver, and eventually took another big leap and bought a larger engraver. Every step has come with plenty of trial and error. There have been things that turned out beautifully and plenty of things that went straight into the trash!

But somewhere along the way, I stopped being afraid of not knowing how to do something.

Instead, I started saying, “I don’t know how to do that…yet.”

Simply Steph has helped me discover a creative side of myself that I didn’t know was there. More importantly, it has taught me to believe in my own potential. I’m still learning every single day, and I hope I never stop.

But Simply Steph is only one part of who I am.

During the day, my heart belongs to a completely different kind of work.

I work full-time in long-term care as a Social Service Director and in Medical Records, and I’m also a CNA and Infection Preventionist.

Working in a nursing home isn’t simply a job to me. I genuinely love my residents.

They become part of my life. I learn their stories, their personalities, what makes them laugh, what frustrates them, and sometimes even exactly how they like their coffee (usually black). I celebrate their good days, sit beside them through the difficult ones, advocate for them, laugh with them, and sometimes cry for them.

They have taught me more about life than they will ever realize.

Working with my residents has shown me the importance of kindness, patience, humor, compassion, and making the most of the time we are given. It has also reminded me that the little things really do matter — whether that's taking a few extra minutes to listen to someone's story or creating something that makes another person smile.

That same heart has found its way into Simply Steph.

And then there’s my greatest love — my family.

I’m a wife to an incredibly supportive husband who has been beside me through every new idea, new machine, and “Honey, look what I bought…” moment. 😂

I’m a mom to three amazing sons, a proud bonus mom to our daughter, and I have one title that might just be my favorite of all:

Lolli. 💕

Being Lolli to my granddaughter is one of life's greatest gifts.

When I look at Simply Steph today, I don't just see stickers, earrings, engraved items, or handmade products.

I see how far I've come.

I see the woman who bought a Cricut for a baby shower without any idea where it would lead. I see someone who decided to try something new, discovered abilities she didn't know she had, and slowly started believing in herself a little more.

And I'm still just getting started.

I don't know exactly where Simply Steph will take me, but I know I'll keep creating, learning, challenging myself, and probably buying another machine I convince my husband I absolutely need. 😉

Most of all, I hope that when you purchase something from Simply Steph, you know there's a real person behind it — a wife, mom, bonus mom, Lolli, caregiver, and creator who is incredibly grateful that you're here.
